With 60 percent of NSCC students utilizing the Lynn Campus, the NSCC Alumni Association is excited to support the development of the Lynn Campus with a gift to name the student lounge in the new addition!
In April, the NSCC Alumni Association Board of Directors voted to approve a generous $25,000 donation to support the Lynn Campus extension as part of North Shore ADVANCING – a major gift and scholarship campaign led by the NSCC Foundation.
“This new addition to the Lynn campus is amazing and a wonderful resource to the college’s students and the community. The Alumni Association is honored to sponsor the Student Lounge in honor of the over 40,000 alumni that the college has created in the last 51 years to provide a welcoming space that will provide opportunity and inspire success,” said Lesley Peters, ’97, NSCC Alumni Association president. “We want all NSCC students to feel valued and supported on campus and providing such a space is an amazing way for us as alumni to give back.”
Lisa Tusinski ‘14, vice president of the NSCC Alumni Association, noted, “I took most of my classes on the Lynn campus and tended to just race in and out as there were no real places to congregate. A space like this would have meant the world to me and I want today’s students to be able to enjoy this wonderful new space and have that feeling that they deserve and will receive the best at NSCC.”
